ABOUT THIS BLOG:
I have a love/hate relationship with writing. I love writing and its power to convey ideas, thoughts and much more; however, I rarely write for me. Through this blog, I hope to be able to do just that and get out of my head all the randomness that can go through it.
ABOUT ME:
My name is Sybil.
Professionally: I am in the communications field. Since 2013, I am the Communications Manager for The Salvation Army. Before that, I was with Univision Houston and served as the Community Affairs Coordinator for ten years.
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in Communications and Spanish. I also have a minor in Theology.
Personally: I am a wife and mother of three. I have two daughters and a son. For several years, I have been a catechist at St. Ambrose Church and currently serve as the Communications Chair for our neighborhood’s civic association. I am a board member, Membership Director, for the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals (HAHMP).
